A tribute to the Buffalo style in perfect Dior style. From the background of Kim Jones, the artistic director of the menswear division draws on the knowledge and heritage of the Buffalo style - created by British Ray Petri - and learned during his adolescence spent leafing through magazines such as The Face, i-D and Arena. In addition to being considered a pioneer in the styling figure, Ray Petri coined the Buffalo style as a hedonistic aesthetic movement of the 1980s.
“The Dior Spring 2024 collection is a mix of masculine archetypes with military, preppy, workwear, business wear, jock, smart, casual elements... referring to Ray Petri's Buffalo style that blends high fashion with streetwear. It is an aspect that has always interested me and that is part of my job. This new line features subtle codes of ceremony, classic decorations applied in a bold and impactful way; masculine decorativeness and practicality are united themes this season". Kim Jones
